Aug. 27
Radio Boston (James Y. Su) files to sell silent WILD (1090) to Bill Blount for $80,000 — an $800,000 loss. The sale contract includes a time brokerage agreement to get the station back on the air before the 12-month deadline; WILD resumes broadcasting with a simulcast of WVNE (760 Leicester). (Sale consummated Oct. 29.)

2021

Sept. 21
WILD (1090) applies to relocate from the WKOX (1430) site in Medford to the WJDA (1300) site in Medford, reducing power to 2.7 kW days an 1.8 kW critical hours.
Dec. 23
The FCC grants WILD's application to relocate to Quincy.

2022

May 3
Longtime WXKS-FM (107.9) morning host Matt Siegel announces his retirement. Siegel had debuted his ”Matty in the Morning” show in mid-January, 1981.
June 8
WMJX (106.7) personality David Allan Boucher, host of “Bedtime Magic”, retires after 40 years.
