The Boston-Radio-Interest mailing-list, operated on this
site since 1997, has been shut down. Long-time participant Bob
DeMattia has
started a
new list that he hopes can take its place. Archives of the
old list continue to be available (see
Other Radio Resources) on this
site.
3 November 2023:
The FCC completed its transition from the Common Database
System (CDBS) to the License Management System (LMS) on
September 29, and is no longer updating the CDBS database files
that some features of this site depend on, including "Where Am
I?" and the daily database difference report. As a result,
these features (like most of the rest of this site) will be
going into archive mode or will be completely disabled by the
end of 2023.
24 October 2015:
A couple of small changes to
the Where Am I?
application, reflecting the fact that Google Maps will no longer
display KML files on any platform: there is now a direct
download link to get the KML file (which we were generating all
along, but had no easy way to do anything with outside of Google
Maps), and in addition, all of the geographical coordinates in
the application list are linked as geo: URIs, which
Google Maps for Android will intercept and display for you.
Neither of these are quite as good as what we had before, but
it's at least something!
